Hi!
I'm afraid that this page falls under my terrible ability to keep in touch with people on a regular basis. I have had a wonderful year full of adventures. I spent last summer salmon seining in Prince William Sound. The Sound is so incredibly beautiful and I had a blast catching fish and enjoying the scenery with my awesome crew on the f/v Jimani. After a roadtrip down the Alcan to Long Beach, California I headed off to see the world, or at least some of it, with my boyfriend Mike. We spent four months traveling around Southeast Asia and then hiked the first part of the Pacific Crest Trail upon returning to "the states." Now I am back in my hometown of Cordova for the summer writing music and filling my days with bits of tendering, website work, hiking, playing music, etc. I have not been able to do a lot with my music since I have been overseas so much this year, but I have been gathering inspiration for songs. My Mom and Grandma have also been sharing my album with everyone to cross their paths :) Thanks to Grandma Jean my music was (and still is?) playing on Airforce One. Hopefully President Bush got to hear my "What Exxon Means" song. CDs have been selling really well and are now in gift shops all over the state of Alaska. I am just about to reorder, yay! Please continue to share my music with all of your friends and family, I greatly appreciate all of your support!
Hugs,
Malani

Hi Everyone :)
I'm finally getting this site up and running. I will still be doing a lot of updating, embelishing, and improving, but at least you've got something to look at. I'm up in Cordova, Alaska (my hometown) right now trying to get everything ready for my CD Release Concert. I will be commercial fishing in Prince William Sound this summer. I will try and update as often as I can. I am hoping to schedule some more shows for the fall so keep checking the Calendar so you don't miss one :)
Have a great day!
